Signup fails with 'parsing "": invalid syntax' when OTP email verification is enabled on serverJan 29

Hello Casdoor Team,

I’m facing an issue with the signup functionality. Everything works perfectly in my local environment, but after deploying Casdoor on my server, the signup process fails with the following error:

parsing "": invalid syntax

This issue only occurs when email verification via OTP is enabled.
If I disable OTP-based email verification, the signup works fine without any errors.

In the deployed instance:

  • Login works correctly
  • Social login works correctly
  • Only signup is failing

Since the signup flow works properly in local setup, I’m unsure what’s causing this issue on the server. Could you please help me identify and fix the problem?
