Why add random user first then edit, and is there no globally unique username?

Hello. new to casdoor. It's quite big so I am having a bit of difficulty with some concepts. 1) Is it true that all user ADD operations are add random user first then edit? 2) is there NO way to have globally unique usernames/emails ?
