i am using casdoor sdk in python. I want to update user's emailVerified variable value to True from it's default False value. but somehow updating user is not working for me. i have tried with update_user and modify_user_by_id methods of the casdoor SDK. SDK call of both APIs are returning payload as mentioned below.
{'status': 'ok', 'msg': '', 'sub': '', 'name': '', 'data': 'Affected', 'data2': None, 'data3': None}

Any help would appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

It looks like the SDK call is returning a response with the status "ok", which indicates the API is being called correctly.
However, the user data isn’t updating as expected.

HI,
It looks like your update calls are succeeding, but the change isn't reflected because the emailVerified field might not be included in your payload or the API isn't handling partial updates correctly. Ensure you're explicitly setting emailVerified: true in your update request payload. Also, double-check that the user object you're updating contains the emailVerified attribute and that it's writable. If the SDK methods don't support partial updates, you might need to fetch the user first, modify the field, and then send the complete user object back for update. Lastly, verify if there's any caching layer or database delay that might delay the change reflection. If issues persist, review the API documentation or consider contacting Casdoor support for potential API limitations.

I have tested with "displayName" variable, I have updated it with the same producer and it is updating this value, but the emailVarified variable is not being updated.

emailVerified is typically a system-managed field, so it can't be manually updated via API. You should verify the email through Casdoor's verification process instead of trying to set this flag directly.

I want to verify email without using casdoor's in built email verification functionality. I have custom requirement, so i need to do in this way.
