Password reset shows 'password or code is incorrect' for new password

the default pwd is 123, have a try

reset is not new password ?

I create a new user ,and I want change password by email

input the new password and confirm , show password or code is in correct

New password is Abc123 why incorrect ?

email code is 126876 is correct too

what's the "password type" of your org?

where Can i see password type ?

You may check Orgnization Settings under User Management, a Password type section should show up.

I set password Abc123 match it

maybe they are not match between your password in DB and what you input

password in DB is old password

I input is new password

so you should reset yourr pwds to match(if you use plain text, just replace the one in DB with what you input on UI frontend, otherwise(if you use bcrypt) you should hash pwd before updating what stored in your DB)

I'm new to casdoor too, just have read the code about update user field yesterday , so... just try as much as you can, haha..

password in db is plain text

the new password I input should not match password in db(the password in db is old password) ,I think is a bug

reset it in User Management > Users

You may try it with admin roles
