Hi, quick q, are there any e2e tests for casdoor?
might sound like a weird question without context but the tldr is:
- came accross this as an alternative to keycloak
- wanted to run it on arm64, saw that it no longer has prebuilt images for it
- reason as far as i understood was slow build speed on ci for the FE
- checked the FE, saw it's still using create-react-app and class components
So i did a tiny CRA to Vite swap for the build and it cut the build speed by half
however i wanna check if everything is still fine (as it looks and runs ok on first glance but i can't/don't know all the features to manually test it), so..
the current FE doesn't have Typescript, nor I can see any tests, and the golang tests, to my limited golang knowledge are more integration/unit tests
is there any way to ensure any FE changes don't cause issues?
the idea is if i manage to convert the FE to typescript + hooks + vite (+ possibly bun instead of node) and you guys are up for it, i could push it upstream 🙂
Here is a short demo of the speed difference with bun + vite (also bonus, startup time on my machine is down to 334ms from 10+ seconds)
